Nadine, The Pal issue has now backfired in the face of arab leaders. They have used it so well in the past to distract their own populations. Now they have an interest in ending it because the chickens are coming home to roost and threatening their position. So the unholy alliance between Mubarek, Abdulla, the Saudis and Abu Mazen. But thats what the israelis have to work with and if that gang can control hamas for awhile, and the palestinian people see some light at the end of their tunnel, perhaps a truce will work toward israels and the US mutual advantage.
