Incidentally, au, according to my readings, the problem isn't the money supply.

The biggest problem is the amount of "other" money being created by the credit markets which doesn't show up on the M123 statistics.

Ecample: Asset backed securities. Lender buys accounts receivable from hospitals and packages them up as a security and sells it as a bond. No money created, but someone has to eventually pay the hospital bill to make good on the bond.

These kinds of "Dollar claims" are exploding.

Agreed.... I certainly don't have all I want if the expected pans out, I'm just not willing to own none, as the financial markets sometimes have interesting ways of putting egg on the faces of those trying to time it.

I see the metal is getting creamed as we speak going into the rate cut. Shorting equities will at these prices will probably outperform gold for the a while.
