As enjoyable as it is to watch you sneer at yourself, I suppose I must rescue you from solipsism and respond. I always have treated polls consistently, so it is inane to act as if I have been hypocritical on this score. Telephone connectivity, of course, is a red herring, since you can get a sampling randomly walking the street, at the market or knocking on a few doors. If you want a national view, all you need to do is collate the results from several towns. But I don't care whether the polls are accurate. I merely use them to point out that the best available data, inadequate though it may be, contradicts your bull, which is founded on much less.........
