Since I own a ton of Marvel stock and read Hulk comics as a kid, I really wanted to enjoy the movie: But I was very disappointed. If you haven’t seen the movie yet you may not want to read the rest. I didn’t like the split screen effect – just looked cheap to me. I didn’t like the slow start, It took half an hour to get the story going. Of course it took so long because they had to change the way Bruce was originally turned into the hulk, with his fathers experiments. I didn’t like Bruce’s father becoming a new marvel character. They have what 2,000 marvel characters to pick from and they have to create a new one to be a father to the hulk. I didn’t like the way the military could follow the hulk wherever he went. (sure it may be more realistic) but how can you make a sequel if the military always has control of Bruce or is chasing the Hulk? I think it is much better to have the Hulk be able to get lost more often. One last thing I didn’t like was the way the Hulk’s pants were sometimes on and sometimes not on. That was one of the miracles of the Hulk, “why did the top of his pants ALWAYS stay on even though all of his other clothes would rip off?” Of course the answer was that it was MARVEL comics, not real life or even DC comics. Glad to get that off my chest. I did like Jennifer Connelly, very good choice for Betty Ross, along with the cast and the special effect, just wished they put them into a good story. I predict Hulk will drop very quickly in the box office. But I will keep my Marvel stock as I loved both X-men Movies and Spider-Man and I think Marvel will do very well with future productions such as the Punisher with John Travolta, and can’t wait to see the Silver Surfer and the Fantastic Four.
