Lay was the only one who understood his own rigged trading game. California not only got no help from Bush-Cheney, we were basically told to go shove it. As a result 1/7th of the nation's economy went into near bankrpucy. Bush-Cheney could have put a stop to the enron shanenigans any time, but it was THEIR game too. They wanted California plundered. And now they are trying to blame it on the victims. Such dishonest crooks and scam artists.
