I don't think it's healthy to get sentimental or revengeful about a stock. Lucent is not like an ex-lover. It's just a company. Some companies fail. It's called Darwinian evolution. I would rather use the fresh money to look for promising winners rather than hanging around LU. I have often heard that a new bull market is usually led by new companies that were not around in the previous bull market. I don't know which ones are the winners, but I sure know who are the losers.

Yes indeedy! 108,337,400 shares traded today. Doesn't take much to scare the heck out of investors (read that as speculators!).
