Interesting link, Sig. So, assuming the Iraqi's themselves are smart, and concerned about their own country, where where their own guards? And how did the "villagers" know exactly where to go? Weren't there signs posted? Or did they 'just know'...?

Or did someone else do this? And then try to blame the Americans and British?

My guess is there is much more to this story than has been told so far.

And yes, mercy me, Saddam could indeed loose his license.
