A movie I loved that deals with that same idea, but which never seemed to get much attention, is Sliding Doors with Gwyneth Paltrow. However, now that I think about it, the conclusion of Sliding Doors is that the different paths lead to one pre-ordained outcome.

Do we have many paths and many unknown destinations, or many paths to only one true destination?
Hmm- shades of Presbyterianism and unconditional election.
Or maybe it was just a cute movie. :)
