"We" start pumpin' oil? You mean the oil companies don't you. US oil companies are not "we". They play by their own rules and what's good for them is usually bad for the rest of us.

You think "we" are going to get one cent of that oil? It all goes to the oil companies (with their offshore tax haven accounts) and Iraqi debt repayment. They have a 500 billion debt and huge re-building and security costs, not to mantion the bombings of the pipelines that are sure to continue.

Even Sean Hannity Bush's biggest cheerleader predicted Iraq wont break even on selling their oil for at least 30 years. And tax-payers won't get squat.
