The reports I've seen say that the Iraqis are smart and well educated. Although from the looks of the country, that does seem hard to believe. If a country has well educated people, it seems hard to believe they would live in mud huts forever, with no power, running water, or anything else.

If these "peasants were poor and illiterate" how did they know where exactly to go....? Was the facility locked or unlocked?

Or did the remaining Baathists help them to open the facility and loot it...to their peril???
