You SHOULD care about our soldiers a great deal, because they are still our defenders. Brave and loyal. You cannot blame the troops for wrong or failed policies. Many ex generals have spoken out against the Bushies and the Iraq War plans. They're not loyal slaves of Bush's, they know what's being done is neither honest nor wise. The issue is with the Bushies, who have shown us they deserve one term maximum in power.

Frankly, I don't care that much about our soldiers. interesting that you are able to write that all safe and secure in your little corner of America knowing that an Iraq can't invade you like it did to Iran knowing that an Iraq can't invade you like it did Kuwait knowing that an Egypt or Jordan can't attack you like it did Israel knowing that a Germany can't invade you like it did to so many European countries knowing that in the twentieth century never before had there been wars that encompassed the entire world - wars that were momentous events that drastically changed peoples thoughts and lives you view them as "murderers for hire" I view them as my protectors - men and women who risk their lives to provide a safe country for me to live and carry out my life in I'm grateful and you Ray?

Oh, don't be too harsh. The vast majority of the soldiers are young and impressionable 18-21 year-olds or thereabouts. They just believe whatever they are indoctrinated in. If they knew any better, they would not be going gung-ho. But sometimes, life's lessons are learnt the hard way and there is nothing like first-hand experience.
