Expect more and more troops to go to Iraq now. Rumsfield and others in the Bush WH denied we'd need more than 75,000 troops to hold Iraq, and then only for 2-3 years. But now we're talking 5-10 years and more like 200,000 troops plus foreign mercenaries. The 200 billion cost Bush's former Treasury guy predicted for the war and post-war is looking way low now. Can you say 500 billion to 1 trillion of deficit financing? Gee, I sure hope thoe oil companies pay taxes from their Cayman Islands offices.
