DD, Some of these plants can not switch any longer because of the pollution requirements. I agree a lot of the NG producers have had quite the run except they are still selling around 3-5 times cash flow. The industry as a whole has not received the multiples because people believe this is just another short term NG run up. Given the demand curve and the dwindling supply I think NG prices remain high for the next 5 years. Thats a lot of cash for these companies to do something with. Stay cool.
