I get it as soon as I go there, but it pops up behind the current window. Are you blocking pop-ups?

it may be a 'first time thing'. the computer i used last night hadn't been used to access SI in over 2 years.

Home Page Pop-Up Joe, << I have gone to the Home page. . . no pop-ups. . . now what? >> On the home page you'll hit a pop-up and accept one or more tracking cookies unless you are running protection against pop-ups and tracking cookies (Avenue A, et al). To see what our threadmates were talking about with pop-ups I set my pop-up blocker (Pop-Up Stopper Pro, now known as Pop-Up Stopper Basic) to allow pop-ups on www.siliconinvestor.com. Instant pop-up. I reversed it and now get the reassuring little ping (always) to announce that a pop-up has been blocked.The pop-up I got in that short interval was from eSignal's Market Center. Likewise I temporarily set Spybot S&D to "ask for blocking confirmation" rather than "block all bad pages silently" and confirmed what tracking cookie was attempting to pass when I hit the home page. - Eric -
