you folks have to excuse me for a few moments here. I have to go buy a house. rates are starting to go up and I have to lock in, plus we are down to a 3.5 month supply of houses here. guess mortgage rates will go down with the fed cutting? tim

Art Cashin had some interesting comments on CNBC yesterday WRT how the rates affect money market accounts. Since there are fees associated with these accounts, if the rates drop below 75 beeps, then there is zero return on those funds. If rates go below 75 beeps, then it does turn into a negative return because of those fees. Pretty scary.
