Bushies now like to point at Johnson and say he too lied to get us into a war. And they're right. Only thing is, it's no excuse. Plus Johnson decided not to run again knowing he would be pegged a liar who waged war on false pretenses. The Gulf Of Tonkin incident was as phony as Cheney-Rice-Rumsfield reports that Al Qaida and Saddam are linked and that Saddam was a clear and present danger. So if you want to compare JBK and GW, then GW should pull out of the 2004 race as well. Let McCain run in his place and save the party.

Whenever Bushies get caught or challenged, they always find some Democrat 30-70 years ago who did something similar and say "see they're just as bad as we are". Or on Enron, they say "see some Democrats took money from Ken Lay too".

Bill O'Reilly has seen through the Bushies and told them to stop. "You're almost as evil as me" doesn't work as an argument. The point is to be accountable and stop the mischief.
