Do you all remember PALM? Back in the year 2000?
Take a look.....Also.....

In March, the agency's commissioners agreed with California officials that there was widespread manipulation of natural gas and electricity prices and supplies in California when the state negotiated more than $20 billion in power contracts.
As a result, Wood said California would receive more than the $1.8 billion in refunds recommended by a FERC judge in December. The exact amount is to be determined in the coming months.

Mikey,

When this thread was originally created we wanted some way to track each stock so we decided to buy 100 shares of each. We then decided it would be nice to actually track how we do as a group so I created another thread to track our trades. What I realized very quickly was you had to make each purchase the same dollar amount or it really did not make sense to track them. So on that thread I purchase $1000 of each stock.

On when to sell. Well most of these stocks are followed by the person who recommended them. When they deem its worthwhile to close the position we typically do. Or if we find a stock that seems to have lost its sponsor we usually will inquire to see if anyone still follows them and if not then replace them. I also asked Sergio to keep the portfolio number at 30 stocks or less to help with managing the transactions. Hope that helps.

Joe
