I Am Inclined To Think That This Is A Worse Day Than Usual To Short Stocks While the market may go up or down in response to the Fed it seems that the week of the Fed announcement always closes up from the announcement. The Fed does not want to be seen as having hurt the market. Monday is June 30 end of month, end of quarter, end of six months. HD reports that they have almost sold out of paint. Nuf said. Of course next week is a short (Patriotic) holiday week so that probably isn't a good week to short stocks either. Hell there is never a good time to short stocks.
