no religion, no war. Unfortunately, John, the replacement of the Witchdoctor by the Tribal Chief in the last Century led to the bloodiest wars we have ever had. Communism and Fascism are worse than any Religion, it turns out.

Great post. I cant say that the creation of israel was a bsd idea. There was plenty of land and the Jews had historic ties to the region. There could have been a better outcome but again here we go arguing history and religion for that matter. First step on the road to peace was taken today on the road to peace. I suggest when signed by arafat and there is follow thru by sharon in lessening the grip, all parties in I & P should go out and get drunk together or smoke some hash. Hating is bad, hating this long is a horror show. mike
