Thanks, Mike...let's keep this dialogue going and see if we can get some other folks involved.

As to current management, so far I agree with the following steps:

1. Correction of accounting issues

2. New Thompson deal (or extension of old deal with new terms)

3. Deemphasis (maybe dropping) of e-book business line.

4. Settlement of other litigation (Diva just yesterday)

5. Enhanced communication with shareholders. (The company actually announced earnings date in advance and seems to be reaching out to analyst community).

6. Peace treaty (implied by me) with Murdoch and Malone. If Murdoch does end up with DirectTv, I see expansion for GMST there as the starsight guide is upgraded and other, international, contracts can be more easily pursued.

These are the quick and dirty ones that come to mind. I don't see Henry willing to do any of these...and his refusal to negotiate, communicate or cooperate - even with his most influential coowners of the company - did no one any favors.
