it's not Greenspan ruining the economy of this country, it's the reincarnated Lafer curve idiots who think that borrowing and spending is the equivalent of prosperity. Greenspan's biggest mistake was when he said Junior's tax cut was bad in an ambiguious way. Instead of mealy mouth platitudes about how paying off the debt was a better idea, he should have just mentioned what every educated economist knew, that Junior's idea was stupid. I bet he wishes now that he had been a little less evasive then. TP
