The ones [rate increases] that killed the market.

And how much higher do you think the P/E ratios for the Naz should have gone...P/Es above 300 with historic averages around 15 weren't high enough. That had nothing to do with the crash, it was Greenspan's interest rate rises that did it all?

A real business whiz you are. Then the crash that occurred on Clinton's watch...how come bumble bum Bush didn't notice it. He does have an MBA. Nooooo......he saw surpluses as far as the eye could see.

Greenspan wasn't head of the Fed when those rate increases were made back in the '90s?

Really! Enlighten us with your knowledge....just who was head of the Fed in the 1990s?

Tell us Laz...share your wisdom.

Greenspan wasn't head of the Fed when those rate increases were made back in the '90s? The ones that killed the market and put the economy in the toilet?

Maybe you need to hear it from an MBA......

And we had an emergency and a recession, which affected the revenue growth of the U.S. Treasury. I mean, the stock market went down. Some of the pie-in-the-sky projections didn't make, and the investors said, oops. The numbers weren't real. The investors said, well, it looks like the days of everything is going up may end. And so people started selling, and the markets went down. That affected the revenues coming into the U.S. Treasury. Recession -- negative growth means less revenues. And so, of course, we've got a deficit.
-- George W. Bush, Canton, Ohio, Apr. 24, 2003

That's a lot better than I put it, but Bush has an MBA!

Bush also has some innovative ideas about technology and productivity...you should take notes....

Twenty-three million businesses will receive over $2,000 in income tax relief. Now, that means a lot when you start thinking about the implications. I mean, you've got a one-man shop. $2,000 may mean the capacity to buy a machine, leverage the money to buy a machine, which means another job.

I think it's time to close this one out....

Greenspan wasn't head of the Fed when those rate increases were made back in the '90s? The ones that killed the market and put the economy in the toilet?

What's your psychiatrist say about this?

I think we know now who was heading the Fed during the 90's. I know you won't disagree with Bumble Lips Bush [I've settled in on that one] on his view of the economy.

That leaves us with your question of.....

What's your psychiatrist say about this?

Psychiatrist: Lazarus lives in his own little world. He's created a reality of his own. It's impossible to guess what other "facts" may be in the world of Lazarus because the ones he does speak of are so far detached from reality. You'll find it virtually impossible to have any sort of a real dialogue with Lazarus. It's difficult to tell from my office whether it's merely a problem of intellect and/or whether there might be some underlying biological problem that might be helped with psychotropic medications.

It would not be of benefit to suggest to Lazarus that he seek help. People that have detached themselves from reality would never agree to it. They will begin to see conspiracies. You could approach his family and hope that they might manage some help for him, but sadly, there's not much to be done for Laz until it's deemed that he has become a danger to himself or society.
