The Fed should shut down eBay! This whole deflation problem is actually caused by folks buying used stuff on eBay instead of new stuff at Walmart.

If Jim Grant turns bullish on US equities - run for the hills ! I have a small biotech called SciClone SCLN - Today they reportedd pretty good results from the Phase III Japan trail of their main drug for Hepatitus B. Moderate improvemnet with response & cure rates - but since Hep B is very tough, this is good news. Main drug is Zandaxian, sort of an immune system helper - think hamburger helper for making white cells. Used in combination with other drugs. Report hit at about 11 am Pacific time. Up 0.99 to 8.90.
