Yes, CB, there was a large Jewish Diaspora in the Roman world even before the destruction of the Second Temple. The Temple even had branch offices in Egypt for the large Jewish community of Alexandria. Jews made up something like 10% of the population of the Roman Empire.

I don't see what relevance this has to the discussion of what happened in Judea in 135 CE. Who claimed that the entire Diapora was a result of the second Jewish rebellion?
