That's an interesting perspective. It's different from my experience- since I remember the music of my childhood very vividly. When I was quite young I heard Beverly Sills sing- it was shortly before she retired. I have never forgotten that, or the many other concerts my mother took me too. I was opinionated about what I wanted to listen to even as a 5 year old- there were some albums in our collection I did NOT want to listen to. No need to get into specifics on that however :-)
