"Do you believe in Jinn?"

Sort of. I have to plead almost as much ignorance on this as on the existence of "after life"; which I also believe in. I definitely believe that there is order in the universe that is derived from outside spacio-temporal being, and forces that are unseen, purposeful and beyond our intellectual grasp. I also figure that much of the explanations of things given in religious doctrine is allegorical, or parabolic and not to be taken literally. So, when you ask me if I believe in something like this, I hesitate to just give a you a yea or nay. Some people take the literal descriptions of the Jinn and their existance in the same sense that many people insist on a literal interpretation of the Bible. That is too extreme for me.

"If so, where does Islam locate the mountain, Kaf?

I don't know.
