The fact that many of these same countries were also
selling illegal weapons, providing intelligence & illegally
providing maintenance & tactical support to Iraq may have
also been a contributing factor.

I'm not buying that...even discounting the EU, what about Russia, China, Mexico, Canada? CANADA for cryin out loud.

Had there been a compelling reason for us to invade Iraq, the world would have lined up behind us...now it appears that they were correct and we were deluded.
