The are high- tech, can monitor every machine nickel by nickel, the world over from one location- compute gains or losses on payouts. I believe they can even tell who is playing, which is scary . But all gambling places will have to keep adding the new equipment as it comes out. Competition is limited because of all the licences required by cities, states, and the fed Cannot comment on resorts, not my area. Stateside probably best investment. We traders need to gain every advantage possible, I got the NTE because I specialize in splits, am a sucker for splits. That gave me NTE a few days ago when they declared a 3/1. Also bgt a call this morning for $1.05 which has to be up over $3 somewhere. Have stock and calls on IGT, a 4/1 split coming up and their first. Many of these with zero or one split will split again. Although nearly all will have a post-splt drop. I most often and probably always should sell at the split as a solid rule. Then if it does not drop, simply buy it back again instead of suffering pain of watching it continue up. CPQ did that once, it looked good after a split so bgt it back the next day, and it continued up till the next split when it tanked completely but I had sold.at the split. Qcom declared a split once so I bgt in , it went up and I got out .With incredible luck, was able to buy back during the drop and it continued up till the 4/1 when it tanked ( should be a new word for that, went over a cliff?) A mistake as I did not sell all of it at the split.. Its impossible to follow what I do ,it must even confuse the broker but he dont complain as hes making big bucks. I can buy a stock, put on a stop, lose it and buy it back for less- all in the same day. Am even starting to do a little late and early trading. << When is MSFT going to join the parade?>> I wont be in that one- with one share each there will be twice the worlds population in that parade (10.5 bil) Regards Sig Nas has developed some recent stability, and is now up 250 at Cinderella time
