IRS: Richest got richer between '92, 2000 WASHINGTON (AP) — America's richest got richer between 1992 and 2000, according to an Internal Revenue Service report released Wednesday. The adjusted gross income of the country's top 400 taxpayers totaled almost $70 billion in 2000, according to the IRS, for an average of $173.9 million. The richest 400 in 1992 accumulated just under $19 billion, for an average of only $46.8 million. ________________________________________________________ Shrub makes his millions by taxing the citizens of Arlington, Texas....AND now he thinks it bad for rich people to pay taxes......Does the man have no shame? And as for affirmative action, consider the fact that he would have been the first president elected that got a college degree from a diploma mill operation if not having affirmative action get him into Yale? Does the man have no shame?
