Augustus - Don't do this. You have stated why you think US is in Iraq legally. I refuted it. Don't come back to me saying you still "think" US is there legally, especially since you are not giving any further justification.

The funniest part is that not even Bush & Co. think we are there legally. They made a big effort to flaunt the illegality of the war, to demonstrate that we are not bounded by international law. Who needs a totalitarian state when you can get volunteers to go beyond the call of duty, as Gus is doing?

While you may have refuted it that doesn't mean you're correct. Iraq violated the 1991 cease fire agreement - Period. That's all we needed to justify another invasion.
