I noticed it works with 'subject titles only' but not contents... so here is the question. Did the db people convert the messages from text fields to blob fields? that could be a culprit.... or perhaps it just needs the thing mr bob is going to turn on. my guess is titles are text fields thus easy to query. and the 'full-text' is stored as blobs and harder to search. although that in itself isn't really a big deal one way or the other.
