gst, that's correct. the elite wealthy would pay a smaller % in taxes than the working class. folks like rd and vic think that is a great thing! let the commoners support the rich and their wealth. however, they don't want to just say that in simple words. seems they know their view is based on greed and take actions not to sound so greedy - while being so greedy. i, on the other hand, see the fairness in those owning 70% of america's wealth paying 70% of the taxes. how is that not fair? they can't answer. in fact, they don't even want to discuss this fact. obfuscation is much more pallatable than the truth. to them. give a tax break to a poor schmuck who fights for their freedom and they don't support that - b/c they pay only ss and medicar taxes - not payroll taxes. heck, we all know a bigger yaght is more important than good meals for the kids of our fighting men and women. right? right?
