One minute ago there came over the radio the name of another from Departure Bay, he's got a boat capsized somewhere[?] ... name of Wayne Gorrie ... probably a trimaran, i was on one of his tris years ago, not five hundred metres from my friend's house in D.B. ... coincidence Yeah, hymns .... anthems, flags, symbols of all kinds .... there was a US division that had as its unit symbol until the 1940s the swastika, did you know that ...... a number of buildings in BC, New Zealand, probably Oz and RSA too, all had the swastika built into the brickwork, this was before the 30s of course, and mostly the Haken go the other way on the Kreuz ..... originally the symbol was life-affirming, a stylised mandala or something .... bloody stupid to let anything go the other direction, eh ...... much later, cheers
