SIer fka Joe B, I'm confused by the last sentence of the article you posted: "California, Massachusetts and Minnesota have banned from local land mines many hazardous materials in computers."

I live in Massachusetts and was not aware that we have local land mines. Any idea where these land mines are located? I understand purpose of the article, and I support protecting the environment and protecting the rights of all people. I can't think of any reason why there should be land mines in Massachusetts and would be willing to investigate how they can be removed.
