Augustus - I will say this one last time and then give up:

IT WAS THE UN, NOT THE US.
-who made the demands
-who issued resolutions (with which Iraq complied or did not)
-who imposed sanctions (which were violated or not)

SO ONLY THE UN COULD TAKE ACTION AGAINST IRAQ, NOT US.
