BellyEase,

I really enjoyed reading Day1 and Day2.

I felt like I was there watching it all as I read your words.

Words that seemed more like little movie screens. I didn't
need pictures but appreciated them anyway.

I think my favorite bit of enlightenment came when I read this:

when unsure, i always go for the positive - believe the
best of a person and they'll usually live up to it,
believe the worst and they'll be insulted and act
accordingly just out of revenge for your distrust of them
in the first place.

Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

First, for all of the links, thanks for sharing the voyage.

I hope you aren’t one of those in Albuquerque that almost got their Fourth of July barbeque move up to this week.

i'm writing it in the form of letters to my son kidd.

Given my propensity for market sabbaticals, there are extended periods when I’m (by choice) out of the loop. The last time you and I spoke of your son was years ago. At the time he was still in Albuquerque, but, as you phrased it, was having difficulty living up to promises that he had made to himself. As a parent, I appreciate the level of rapport implied by that statement and exhibited by your letters. At a time when my own daughters are “haltingly” leaving their nest, your letters to your offspring, that you kindly share, serve as models.
