LB...Folks can see marcos as if he were in that "x-ray machine" that they are running up the flag pole to see what people say about it....he is quite transparent. People who seem to want to be superior to others, usually have much to hide. I've really never met a rude Canadian....so I doubt he is one...a transplant probably. We've gone to BC since the late 60's, and do know many folks. I've met Canadians who had different views than ours, but were willing to discuss them civilly.

I am glad Marcos is saying what he is saying, although he is being somewhat sarcastic. I don't like the idea of the US becoming the Empire replete with Imperial Storm Troopers. Cool though the uniforms be. Here in Fairfax you can't use the Sheriff to serve process because so many of them have been called up for the reserves. I think if the shit really hits the fan we are going to have to reinstate the draft, for which my older son just registered. Better coalitions of the willing, and pissing on people's shoes isn't the way to go.
