Ah! Pearly yes I like YIWI's comment too. When I posted on the coal to Darfot I was thinking exactly that...unencumbered by democracy is a big plus for them now... perverse in a way but I think you are correct on Mao also although among old timers my family the only people more reviled than the Communists were the Japanese..
