Teamster truckers who transport liquefied natural gas from
the Everett storage tankers to points all over New England
have unanimously thrown out a proposed Keyspan
contract and plan to go on strike at midnight tomorrow.
The rejected contract calls for a pay hike of $2.30 an hour
to $22, but takes away two of 12 vacation days and ups
health care contributions from 30 to 50 cents an hour.
