Yeah...the entire premise. The US was the MAJOR force in 1991 and the conditions for surrender were demands we wanted met. They didn't meet them. The only reason the vote went the way it did this time around was because certain countries had helped Iraq break those conditions and didn't want to give up the profit they were making from it. That said we hadn't really pushed the issue until after 9/11. On that date the game changed. Peace now will be on our terms. Those countries in the middle east WILL fall in line or they will be wiped out and I support that. Its been a problem area throughout history and now that war technology has advanced so far that even a small group could wipe out a population I believe what we're doing must be done. I may be technically wrong as it applies to the cease fire (and if so congratulations for being right) but my conscience is clean. If we move onto Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia and the Sudan I will have ZERO problem with that.
