Yes, I've just read a bunch of the reviews. I've seen it, although I would need to view it again to remember it! I used to enjoy the original Trek. The characters were so consistent and familiar that they became like family. The acting and plots were often execrable...but that didn't matter! Do you collect the DVD's? Bow, crawl, and whimper--like it or not! People just won't drop the totalitarian approach to social relationships! I am more powerful than you...therefore, I find no adequate alternative to you becoming my slave. Would you please bow now? (the "please" is just my sense of amusement at my ability and capacity to control and hurt you). Again...please.

LOL! I think I remember that one. Too bad the prime directive was in reality the "favorite flavor" Man made principals are like that, if you can make em up you can also ignore them. The god's in that episode were just as flawed as the humans they sought to enslave. The God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob is NOT just a big version of us, he is a perfect, self existent being. God needs nothing that we have to offer. Love and mercy are as much a part of his being as is justice. Got to run have a good day T.P. :)
