On the whole I am glad that we deposed Saddam but still, the French and the Russians were not completely wrong.

I never had an issue with the fact that Iraq wasn't the imminent threat it was made out to be, nor over the WMDs. I mainly believed we would be taking on a filthy job that almost nobody would thank us for, and that it's certain we wouldn't have gone through with it if the US didn't depend so heavily on Saudi oil. Iraq would be just another totalitarian cesspool among countless others on this low world that nobody cares about.

My disgust with France (above all else) is that they repeatedly have done everything to stab us in the back over this in the manner of the most petty, dishonest politics ever. I'd prefer to never see Chirac, nor de Villepin, set their feet in the US again, they're both a pair of complete jerks. Chirac doesn't even represent what "everyone" in France really thinks anyway.
