Surely there were communist spies in the 1950s. That is your justification for McCarthy and his anti-American/anti-Constitution tactics of fear? Again, watch the Ox Bow Incident. The ends do not justify the means.

And, yes, there would have been plenty of people saying "Where's Hitler?" if he disappeared at the end of the WWII without a trace. Coulter's comment was idiotic, but par for the course for her.
