Here many people feel a desperation about being left out and never being able to own a home.

sounds like the sense of desperation people felt about being left out of the tech bubble and never being able to own Cisco at 82 dollars or QCOM at 200. eventually the last desperate lemming jumps on board and then the crash can begin.

of course, people can live in their houses whereas stocks provide poor shelter. so the timing could be harder to call (heck, wasn't it hard to call the timing just for stocks?). but i doubt the end result will be different.
