It's desirable for people to post negative or positive comments on QUALCOMM. But frequently what happens is that they don't give many (or any) reasons for their opinion, and those comments seem to be mostly a waste of time. The exception is if someone has some news that might be relevant. The quality of the information on this thread, particularly that regarding the technology itself and the impact on QUALCOMM is better than what most investment firms publish. Art

Not correct John. If we continue our poker metaphor, then 'standing' as you put it actually means you took a position, have cards in your hand and are playing in THIS game. That is not the same as having money you could have bet on THIS game. I welcome all opinions. I dont' read all the pontifications thrown up here, but I welcome them. But I don't spend any time on the SUN thread or the Cognos thread or the myriad other opinion forums available where I have no vested interest in the discussion. JMHO
