It depends what the definition of "war", is. The U.S. blockaded Iraq, enforced a "no fly zone" (with U.S. airpower), and launched countless air strikes against Iraq and its government while commanded by a Democrat - that's not war?

I think we know the difference between an embargo and war.

Since you are so keen in accepting Iraq's former government's word about WMDs, you should know that they claim that over a million civilians were killed by the UN/Clinton blockade.

Keen? Who said I was keen on accepting Iraq's former gov't word re. WMD? Before the war, what I was "keen" on is letting the UN inspectors do their job. Bush wasn't having any of it. Bush had his Doctrine and he went with it.

Civilian Iraqi casualties from those actions, were many times larger than from the recent war.

Oh I see.......so the real bad guy is Clinton. Why don't you blame Clinton for the deaths in this war as well. Its seems that's what conservatives do best.
