My point is that, while you and Kevin may equate McCarthy with evil, the Kennedys (Joe, Bobby and John) did not. They supported McCarthy, and echoed many of his views on Communism.

If that's true, then they were nuts too. My point still stands......McCarthy was a disturbed individual who did the dirty work for a lot of people who didn't want to soil their hands, and as a consequence, he ruined a lot of lives.

Coulter is sick for trying to exonerate him..........I would think the same of anyone else who was guilty of the same action.

For the record, unlike a lot of my liberal 'brethren' (would 'peothren' be the PC equivalent?), I am not an admirer of the Kennedy's. Daddy Kennedy was as corrupt as they come; JFK was an incessant womanizer; RFK was a zealot with a convenient memory; Teddy is a mere shadow of his brothers as far as leadership.

Come to think of it, there are not a lot of politicians on my 'most admired' list, at least not many since Truman.
