Just finished registering all of my telephone numbers on the new national do-not-call list for telemarketers.

It's a fairly easy process on the Internet. You just type in your telephone numbers (up to 3 at a time, including area codes) and your e-mail address. They send you a confirming code embedded in an e-mail. <Click> on the confirming link in the e-mail and you're done.

They're getting up to 1000 requests per second right now (according to the WSJ), so the confirming e-mail doesn't come immediately, takes about 45 minutes or so...

The list goes into effect on October 1st, and your registration is good for 5 years.
