One cannot help to think of all those Egyptian frescos and hieroglyphs of that very same theme ....the scales of justice and the deeds of the soul imparting towards heaven being weighed in by our little friend Horus ? Or was it Amen Ra ? Oh well , let's call him "Jesus" now that our story telling has gotten better.....<g> I mean it is all so silly to ignore the fact that the Egyptian had this idea plastered all over their walls for many millinea BCE , and not think that this concept was borrowed from them and incorporated by the Hebrew into their little song . I mean they were over there for how long ? hmmmm... Stories stories stories....all stories , and none more verifyable as this , yet they do not want to even begin to see the connection. Heaven forbid, and if they could have erased those hieroglyphs they would have , or taken down those pyramids . Damn Egyptians , they built them too tall @! We are in the space , in the fieldsof time ...of events that have shaped the world , and no greater truth has there ever been , how we shape our world by or own imaginings as we travel through it ourselves...but always stemming from those forces at work, at war , or at rest within our own bodies. And everyone has the truth , of course, since they are also part of that endless stream of time and the elements at play in the sometimes peaceful , sometimes raging fields of time...and we dance on like leprechans thinking we have found something useful and entirely new , like the wheel. But the Sun shines down over all..."The Moses Mystery...101 Bible Myths " ggreenberg.tripod.com (the money is not worth anything , the kids don;t want to listen , and everyone wants to write a book ! ...Socrates' complaint ) hehe
