If we're out by the pool, it's either early in the morning or late afternoon, early evening and we're wearing sunscreen. My oldest and middle boy are fair skinned like their Daddy and my daughter is dark skinned like me. It make no matter to me, we all put it on 30 minutes before going out. When we play golf, we each keep a bottle of sunscreen in our bags and reapply as it sweats off. One thing about sunscreen that a lotta people don't realize is that it does need to be reapplied every 80-90 minutes. It's not a put it on once and forget about it. I know people who will not put on sunscreen because they swear it doesn't work because they still burn when using it.
